The Council of Collaborative Law is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to informing the residents of Bryan/College Station about the collaborative law process as an alternative to the traditional divorce process.
Collaborative law divorces involve professionals who promote a peaceful settlement that is mutually agreed upon by you, the couple. This is a settlement process that enables you to resolve your divorce issues without having the expense of preparing for trial.
You are in control of your time because the work is done in meetings instead of in the courtroom. The meetings are set up to work at your pace and with your schedule not the court calendar set by the judge. The meetings are conducted in private with only the professionals working on the case, not in a public courtroom where anyone can hear about your personal family issues.
The collaborative law process helps you protect your privacy, your children, your dignity and your financial future.
